Welcome to My Better Sleep
Bringing evidence-based sleep tips from the sleep clinic straight to you.
Welcome to My Better Sleep. In this twice-a-month newsletter, I’ll write about all things sleep and insomnia. I’ll share research-backed tips for better sleep so you can improve your sleep without wasting time and money on products that don’t work. My hope with this newsletter is to take evidence-based sleep information out of the sleep clinic and make it accessible to you so that you can find relief from sleep troubles, like insomnia. Because when you sleep better, you feel a whole lot better too!
About me: I am a sleep psychologist and researcher based in Melbourne, Australia. I am U.S. Board-Certified in Behavioral Sleep Medicine and I deeply understand the challenges of poor sleep. I have worked at leading sleep centres across Melbourne over the past ten years, including St Vincent’s Hospital Sleep Centre, Monash University Project REST, Melbourne Sleep Disorders Centre, and the Institute for Breathing and Sleep at Austin Health. I have completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology from the University of Melbourne, a Master of Psychology from Swinburne University of Technology, and have just completed my PhD in Psychology at Monash University, focused on training healthcare providers in evidence-based insomnia treatment.
As you can see, I love to learn and share information about sleep! I have dedicated my career to learning the best evidence-based strategies to improve sleep problems like insomnia, and I look forward to sharing them with you in this newsletter 😊
P.S. I also love dogs and will share some pictures of my Aussie Terrier, Kevin, along the way.
